Genetic Engineering
Genetic Engineering is defined as a labratory technique that scientists use to change the DNA of a living organism. It is taking a gene from one organism and putting it into another. For example: a scorpions poison may be taken and put into a cabbage so that insects do not attack the cabbage. Genetic Engenireeing is not like cross breeding because in cross breading the same species are used, in Genetic Engineering any organism is crossed with another organism. Genetic Engineering is one of science's greatest inventions.
